In an unexpected turn of events, I bought the UCS Rebel Snowspeeder today, too. Probably not the best idea being unemployed and all…but I hadn’t seen it on eBay for awhile, and I came across it at $300…a bit more than I would have preferred, but again, the cheapest I’ve ever seen it. And this one’s in the US, so shipping’s a lot cheaper. So, my collection is now complete…which is pretty bitchin’. And I used money from my eBay sales, so I can rationalize that in my mind as not me actually spending any of my money, since it’s not coming from my checking account =)

I have just purchased the UCS X-Wing Starfighter set on eBay! It’s used, which isn’t ideal—however, the stickers were never applied, the set comes in its original box with instructions and is 100% complete…so, honestly, it’s good enough for my purposes. Plus, it was only $210. Granted, the set originally only sold for between $100 – $120, but I have never seen it on eBay for less than $400! I’m very excited. It’s gonna come from Australia, though, so shipping will be a bit expensive…but Australia is one of the few places left where the US Dollar still goes a bit far. Now I’m only one set away from having the complete collection! Merry Christmas to me, indeed =D
