Not every moment of one’s life is a choice. It’s a nice thought, but… no. It just wouldn’t do. There are certain things one should be compelled to say. “Thank you.” “Sorry.” “That’s a nice dress.” I won’t give those up, just because sometimes I say things and don’t mean them.
