Watched the first movie last weekend. I liked it, though I’m not into classic movies at all.
It’s been quite a while since I updated my list, but I’m now down to 2 cards and should have everything paid off in a matter of months (fingers crossed that nothing major happens to derail my plan).
So it’s been awhile since I’ve updated this goal, but yesterday I weighed 181.5. Just need to drop that last half pound and I can mark this one off…and it’s going to be so hard to do over the next 2 weeks. Christmas and New Year…hello cookies and everything else. Oh well, I’ll stick to the diet as much as I can.
Start: 201
Current: 181.5
Goal: 181
I’m almost there, but it sure is slow going. Probably because I’m not exercising as much as I should. Oh well…at least I’m still losing. The next 2 weeks are going to be throw away weeks because I’m flying home to see family and I’m not counting on the diet to stay intact.
Start: 201
Current: 182.5
Goal: 181
I just met my goal of losing 15 pounds so now I’m adding 5 more to it.
Start: 201
Current: 186
Goal: 181
All I can say is wow. I began a new eating plan last Friday and I’ve already lost 5 pounds which means I met my goal of losing 15 pounds (overall). Time to set the new goal.
Start: 201
Current: 186
Goal: 186 <—goal met!!
Whee…it’s a roller coaster ride, but I just started a new eating plan the results have been very positive in the few days I’ve been doing it. Next weigh in should be interesting.
Start: 201
Current: 191 (as of 10/21)
Goal: 186 (5 at a time)
Either I’m yo-yo-ing or my scale is messed up. I didn’t think I ate particularly well this week, but I’m back to where I started a few weeks ago.
Start: 201
Current: 190.5
Goal: 186
Douglas Preston is one of my favorite authors and he didn’t disappoint with this one. I’m looking forward to his follow-up novel.
The last time I went skiing I dislocated my shoulder and had to be hauled down the mountain and taken to the hospital in an ambulance. I was in extreme pain because they couldn’t reset the shoulder at the med center on the mountain. Definitely not fun and not worth it if you are hurt…now if you got a free ride in an ambulance and weren’t hurt then it would be a different story.
Whatever you desire in a vacation Hawaii can provide it. If you want to get away from the touristy places head to the island of Kauai. You won’t be disappointed.
I felt that the story switched back and forth between the present and past a little too much. It was a good book overall, but I don’t think I’m going to put Ian Caldwell or Dustin Thomason on my list of preferred authors.
I just reached my goal of losing 10 pounds and now I want to keep going. For each 5 I lose I’m going to mark off a goal and add another (makes me feel like I’m accomplishing my goals rather than having one big number to shoot for).
Start: 201
Current: 190.5
Goal: 186 (to mark off this thing)
If you are overweight stop making excuses and just do it. My formula? 1 granola bar for breakfast, 1 granola bar for lunch, normal dinner. It will be slow going, but you should be able to drop about a pound a week (lower your calorie intake by 500 each day and you’ll lose a pound a week..that’s where the granola bars come in…125 calories a piece).
I only weigh myself once a week (Friday morning) and this morning, I’m happy to write, that the scale said 190.5.
201 – 190.5 = 10.5 :)
I’m done with is thing. Now it’s on to 15 pounds. Baby steps…
