Well It’s been like three months since I’ve posted here. I’ve pretty much gotten to where my body wants to be. I just sorta hang out between 175-180lbs. 172 would have been 100 lbs for me, but I’m content where I am. I have no doubt that if I pushed myself into some unhealthy lifestyle I could get down that last three pounds, but for my height and frame I’m pretty good where I am. It’s kinda funny, I went out today to the Disney Theme parks and walked like 5 miles which would have killed me a year ago, but today I didn’t break a sweat. After the parks my friends and I went to Ruby Tuesdays. Ok so I’d never been there before and had no idea what was low calorie and what was toxic death on a plate. I stared at the menu and finally ordered the creole catch with brown rice pilaf. I ate it an enjoyed it. I came home and looked up the fact that it was the lowest calorie lowest fat meal on the menu just about. The entire meal was only like 700 calories! In comparison with the Creamy Parmesan Chicken Pasta that my friend got…(1700 calories) this was an amazing feat. It just goes to show that once you pound the basics into your head if becomes routine. My three pronged rule for eating out totally works.
No Read Meat,
No Fried Foods,
No Sugary drinks.
I can’t remember the last time I had a fried meal or a french fry, or potato chip. Its so ingrained to me now that I don’t even consider it.
Ok well I’ve rambled on enough tonight, I bid you all well.

I can walk 10 miles in the humid orlando summer with no problem…it takes me about 2.5 hours. I guess if I wanna walk 26.2 miles I should really raise the bar. I used to be rather obese. I went from 272 to 177 in like 9 months, I just don’t know how to start jogging/running without hurting my hips or shins…any ideas?

I’m back ya’ll. I dunno if I gained any weight or not on my cruise I’ve been busy unpacking and drinking white russians with my friends on the tail end of my vacation. Anyhow the trip was a blast. It was only a short one. I usually go on a 7 day cruise but my family traveling companions had a strict time allowance to work with so we went on a 3 night cruise. I think I averaged about 4 hours of sleep per night. I was gonna go to work today, but I was just plain wore down so I extended my vacation another day. When it came to eating on board I did surprisningly well.
Breakfast every morning: 2 egg beaters, 100 calorie yogurt, and canadian bacon.
Lunch: Whatever grilled fish was on the buffet, salad with low calorie dressing, and a starchy side item mashed potatoes, or rice
Dinner: Low cal or veggie appetizer…usually soup, or fruit.
Ceaser salad with light dressing.
Entree: The lightest thing on the menu. First night grilled chicken breast. Second night orange glazed Salmon, last night oven roasted turkey, white only no skin.
I ate desert every night, but they had surprising selections…fat free angel food cake with strawberries/ Lowfat cheese cake. But the last night I treated myself the the fatt full brownie madness. I snacked on fruit inbetween, and I only went to the all night pizza buffet once on the first night cause I didn’t eat too much that first morning.
I’m sure I prolly gained a few pounds, but it was worth it, and given my options I think I did pretty damned good. My family was in awe of my choices. It felt good to surprise them. I think I finally know how to eat properly. I didn’t go to nutty on the exercise on board, however I swore off the elevator this trip. there were 14 flights of stairs on the ship, and my stateroom was on the 3rd floor. needless to say I got well aquainted with all the stairwells.
P.S. Its faster to walk the stairs than take the elevator…they are S L O W.
I got a mega workout Sunday. I decided to go snorkling out to a manmade reef. I had a lifevest, snorkle and mask…I thought I could be a badass and not use fins. This was a big mistake. It was 1/4 mile swim to the wreck site, and another 1/4 mile swim to the submerged ship. My brother and friends with fins on could do this trek in like 15 min it took me 30. So if you ever snorkle get fins. I’m still a single guy and there were lots of hot chicks on this ship, unfortunatly I still have the husky guy mindset and esteem, I wonder how long its gonna take to get over that. I made a few friends, but alas there was no oceanbourne romance. I visited my new fitness room at my new apartment today. They have a badass weight machine with are chart explaining all the exercises. They also have an eleptical machine and a bike trainer and most importantly an air conditioner. Im so excited to have this all included in my rent. Ok well lemme post a few before and afters.first pic is me at 272 the second is me o the ship at 177.
