How I did it: In terms of what most people would class as a proper lolita, I have a full wardrobe and regularly attend, as well as organise, meet ups in Manchester. I've re-decorated my room so it's all pink and fluffy and that was a big thing for me, now my room looks like the inside of my wardrobe, haha. How I did it: I was coming out of H&M in Manchester (opposute the Arndale) and I saw this very familiar looking short guy walking past me in the crowd... It didn't take me long to figure out who it was, even though he was trying to remain incognito and was wearing a beanie and sunglasses, haha. One of my friend’s land lord said that she had an extra house and we could be in after it was done up in two weeks… Now it won’t be done until after xmas! We (me and my friend and her sister) haven’t even seen it yet but we’re all so desperate to move out we don’t really care… It’s the same layout as our other friends house anyway, so we know the basics. Hopefully we’ll be in there by the end of January!
I’ve wanted to do some more authentic 50’s style hair for a while now, buy the time my hair’s grown long enough to put up into victory rolls I want to be able to use a curling iron so I can do them properly!
I learnt how to play guitar in high school but I’ve not been playing for years… I picked my baby up the other day and I really want to teach myself again, so hopefully with some stamina and all the time I have on my hands I can be a better played then before. The last time I learned it was mostly in a class and I can’t do things infront of people when I know I’m going to get them wrong, which is my downfall. Hopefully because of all the spare time I have now I’m not in college and because I get the house free for a few hours every day I can encourage myself to learn more this time and get better : )
