In my excursions through this bizarre occurence we call life, I’ve learned several things. Whether or not I’ll ever unveil whatever meaning my life holds really makes little difference. I am but a speck of sand in an hourglass, waiting as time ticks onward. I’ll stop digressing and get to the point. We all want to find meaning. We all want to know that there is some purpose for existing. What I’ve learned is this: The meaning of our lives is to care for one another, respect each other, love and appreciate others. A kind word, or a gentle touch can make all the difference to someone who’s world has been flipped upside down. Everyone is searching for something, and many will never find what it is that they are looking for, but we persevere.

Well, I don’t know if this counts, but here goes. Back in 9th grade at the end of the school year, we made ice cream. I don’t recall how it worked, but it was cool. It involved two plastic ziploc bags, some salt, ice cubes, milk, sugar and vanilla. A little shaking and VOILA! ice cream.
It was actually quite tasty.
I had originally meant to post an entry for every day that I was on the master cleanse but I was too busy to even get on the computer. For that, I do apologize as I have been able to read the experiences of others and have not contributed much in return. I’ll admit that the first three days were the hardest, but I suppose that you could do just about anything after three days. Being obsessive about food and baking, it was quite hard to not eat real food. On the fifth day, I actually made myself a list of everything I would cook once I finished (Might I add it was three pages long…) Overall, I feel so good now. My body feels healthier and happier. I also have more drive to take better care of myself. And I’m glad that those evil (yes EVIL) salt water flushes are done until my next go around.
