I invited my little sister to come to the city so I could take her to have hair extentions put in, go look around a piercing shop (she wants her lip pierced but has to convince our parents), shop and go out for lunch. Now we both have to find a day we are both free.

I did for the first time yearsa go, but had to let it close up for a job.
It wasn’t bad at all (and I had a serious needle phobia)! It was a strange sensation when the needle went in and a slight pinch when the jewelry went in but it was well worth it and not nearly as bad as you’d imagine!
The heeling process went well, it stung now and then but nothing I couldn’t handle! Incase you were wondering the piercing did leave a smalls car after I took it out, but no one noticed it unless I pointed it out.
I just re-pierced my lip 5 days ago, same thing, hardly any pain, heeling up fast!
Some advice:
DONT pierce anything yourself! Please go to a professional piercer! I’ve had friends with infections around their piercings, it’s NOT something you want to deal with and doing it yourself pretty much guarantees an infection…or worse!
Make sure you go to a good piercer, do alot of research, make sure they can answer all your questions.
You may want to buy some straws to use while drinking while healing, I have a center lip ring which is slightly larger then it needs to be to account for the sweeling and it makes drinking with out spilling all over myself impossible!
Buy some yummy popsicles, they help with the swelling.
Always follow your after care instructions carefully! They will help you heal fast and with out problems!
Good luck!
I spend most of the evening yesterday getting ideas and found LOTS! But it will be a while before I can have any done. I should get a second job to support my tattoo and piercing habits.
