How I did it: I found a group of knitters that met in Cambridge at the Spark Craft Studios (which sadly no longer exists). I was instantly part of the group! There are always new knitters coming and going, but there is always a core group that shows up almost every week. Read how I did it…
How I did it: I joined a knitting group in Cambridge. Not only was there a weekly meeting, but I also made weekend plans with the women I liked very well. I now have a good number of women I speak to often and consider dear friends and an even larger group of people whom I'm associated with. I’ve moved closer to work, so I’m using less gas.
My house is heated by bio-fuel.
We are turning unneccessary lights off (also saving money) and using less water.
We use a Brita filter instead of buying bottled water.
We changed all our bulbs to energy-efficient ones.
We are reusing furniture, freecycling the stuff we don’t want anymore or selling things on Craigslist.
I already have my comics up on my website: HowToWashAShowerCurtain.com, but I’d like to sumbit them to a publisher, see if there is any interest in this. Even if I just xerox some of them and mail them out.. I have to do this.
Out from under my parents’ roof, I no longer have access to 24hr/day Premium Channel awesomeness – but did you know there’s a channel that comes in through rabbit ears that plays Mama’s Family every day at 8pm?
