I did it! 4 years ago

Alright, so I ran my first 5K race last weekend. I hadn’t trained a whole lot (never ran in my life..just practiced 5-6 times before the race) and so naturally it was very difficult. I was cursing through the entire race and thinking ‘Man, why the ** do I have to do this..?’ ....but then just seconds before the finish line, everything changed! People cheering, clapping…it was an out-of-this-world feeling! Even though I finished the race at 36th position (out of 48)...I was ecstatic that I atleast ran and finished in 30 mins, 32 secs. I’m sure I can do much better next time..and curse lesser. :)

I have a Nikon D70 – amazing camera! And i hate myself for not using it enough! I love taking pictures…but my excuse ‘I don’t have a subject’. I know it’s lame! You can find subjects everywhere…even in your living room. Ugh I know it..! And still keep procrastinating for next weekend. Damnit! I should be taking pictures right now instead of writing stories about it.



try pilates
Am going for the next level - yay! 4 years ago

I took an Introductory 6 session course in Pilates and I loved it! Initially I was disappointed coz I wasn’t feeling sore after the sessions but then I realized that it’s more coz I’ve been doing ab-exercises quite like pilates on a regular basis and so my body has adapted to them. I thik a lot also depends ont he instructor. I had a wonderful instructor who was very encouraging and corrected even the subtle movements. I’m definitely going for the next level and I recommend you guys to try it as well..it really helps improve your posture and strengthen your core.
