I can finally say that I’ve accomplished this one. I managed to get to bed before midnight for a 10 day streak, and most days since. I’ve now got it on my list of regular habits that I’m trying to keep, since I feel much better the next day, while I have a 2-year-old son who tends to be up by 7 at the latest every morning.

When I decided to complete watching all 100, I had 46 to see (or re-see, because if I couldn’t remember for certain if I had seen it, it probably needed another screening). I also didn’t want to push too hard, with any marathon screening sessions, since there is still normal life to be lead.
As I begin 2008, I only have 29 left, having checked off 71 of 100 films. The last two I’ve seen were “Gone with the Wind” and “To Kill a Mockingbird.”
I’ve found that going to the nearby public library has been a great source for borrowing the classics, and watching 1 or 2 per weekend is a pretty doable rate.
Since my first entry on the subject, on 18 Feb 2007, I’ve stuck to my limit, and I’ve been drinking less than one soda per day, for more than a month straight. It may still be more that I should be having, but it’s way less than I used to be drinking, and it means I’m drinking more water, which is always a good thing (especially in Phoenix).
So while I’m going to stick with it, I’m going to check this one off as “I’ve done this!”
