I don’t feel that I want to ‘become’ something else, I just want to ‘be’ myself. I am a free-spirited soul, who is trapped in a parochial school in the suburbs of New Jersey. I don’t know anybody who shares the same ideas and beliefs as I do. Few challange the norm, and those who do, are challanging ‘good’ structure for reasons that are crude and unnecessary.
The only time I feel as if I belong is when I venture out and take the train to nearby Philadelphia, (for those who know the area) to South Street, which is an eclectic area of the city filled with an abundance of thrift stores and crazy-colored hair.
I feel as if I belong in another time, in another place. I confuse myself at times, thinking about things I want to do, and things I wish I could do. If anybody has any suggestions or ideas, please e-mail me—heyitspayton@aim.com
