We will have a C-section next week, so I’ll be looking at this goal again in the coming weeks. Though not too soon… :)
We will have a C-section next week, so I’ll be looking at this goal again in the coming weeks. Though not too soon… :)
pregnancy has made this goal a definate postponement. I’m not taking it off my list though, b/c I know it will definatly be a goal after the baby gets her. BTW- it’s a girl!!!
... though that’s not what I call it. I got pretty dividers and have sections for my menus, shopping lists, etc.
I finalized a good weekly routine and have it on the refrigerator, and completed my items for today.
I had gotten bad about keeping my calendar and maintaining the house during my 1st trimester. Now that I’m feeling better, I’m glad to get back on schedule!
... my husband and I were blessed with pregnancy. We are due May 1st. So, this goal is postponed. :)
I’ve been at this for a month and a half now. I don’t miss meat- I just need to get better at meal planning (especially lunches) so I don’t eat as many starches or limit myself to subway salads or cheese pizzas (the latter being so yummy but not exactly healthy.
... one has a lot of statistics in it, which makes it slow going for me. One is in the hands of a colleague, so I can’t work on it currently. The last is still a figment of my imagination just purring around my brain- it’ll come out, it actually has a little in pieces on my desktop…
... because of many reasons, but most of all priorities. Taking 4 doctoral classes at a university that’s an hour and a 1/2 drive makes for difficult eating (especially since I’ve given up meat as of mid- june. I do not want to replace meat with starches like pastas and bread, so this made it all the more difficult. I’m sick of Taco Bell burritos. Now that the summer term is over and I can unpack the suitcase I’ve lived out of, I can be more schedule oriented. One day…
I’m so close- the light at the end of said tunnel is visable. I should be done with coursework by December. If I take comps at the end of January, I’ll be ABD (all but dissertation).
This summer term has ended and I have finished stats with an ‘A’- whew! 2 more classes and I’ll be ready to start dissertation hours. :)
... is very rewarding. :-) I’ll most likely continue to keep post-its in my bag.
Not to actually work out, but to see if I liked the facility. My hubbie goes there everyday… I know I need to do something in addition to watching my eating habits. I plan to join this upcoming week.
b/c the pictures on their slideshow just kill me! Those are sweet children in need of a home. I hear that adoption costs are quite minimal that route, so I called today to get some answers. I left a message and noone has called back yet.
with my schedule. I think they work better for people who have the opportunity to actually not get dressed to their shoes… Having said that, there are some very good qualities about having and keeping routines. I swished and swooped this morning and love the feeling I get from seeing a sparkling toilet. :)
... but I’m back on track. I was up at 5 to do 30 minutes of lower body yoga. I feel good, and aim to keep this up. I also stopped writing down what I eat, and my line graph depressed me when it went the wrong direction. I aim to turn this trend around. I’ll post progress…
for review. I’m hoping this will be the first in a long line…
... red meat since before Thanksgiving, I think I can now check this one off. I don’t miss it, and yes, I do feel better. :-)
But my schedule is so very hectic. I’ve got a retched cold, so I’m taking a holiday from work… This goal has been wonderful- really keeping me on my toes (so to speak). Meeting it meant sometimes doing yoga with only the DVD in my head- sometimes that was even better than following someone else! I appreciate all the emails/posts from the group~ you kept me motivated. Best wishes to all the yogis out there.

I especially like the weekly emails that tell you a place to focus on. The one I plan to tackle today is the linen closet. We have towels in their that my hubbie had 100 years before me! That’s a little hyperbole, but I’ve added towels to my grocery (Wal-Mart) list so that I can gradually build us a nice collection. I highly recommend subscribing to their email list.
