I’m not sure at what point one can say that they’ve ‘learnt’ a language, as it’s really an ongoing process, unless it’s your dominant language. However, I’ve completed my Diploma of Languages in German, have spent 2 months in the country, know the grammar pretty well, and can understand a fair bit. Speaking is always difficult but this is something I can continue working on.
