I have tried Sushi … I wasn’t a fan. I’ve had Sushi on 6 or 7 different occasions, been to 3 or 4 different Sushi restaurants and have tried not only what I’ve ordered but what all my friends have ordered as well, and I have to say that I am just not a Sushi person. Even though I did find a few things that didn’t taste too bad, they still didn’t taste good enough to make me a Sushi lover. I don’t like the taste of it, the smell of it or even the texture. I can definitely say that I gave this goal my all. I’m the type of person that wants my food cooked (well done). Sorry Sushi.

I have been trying this for over a month now actually … it’s not fun. I miss soda because of the taste, but mostly the carbonation. I start to have a fix and I don’t care what kind of soda I drink—whether it actually has caffeine in it or not—just as long as there is carbonation. Coffee I just love. I love the taste, I love the variety, I love it hot, I love it cold, I love that first sip in the morning and if you haven’t gotten it by now … I love coffee. I broke down the other day and bought a bag (Komodo Dragon Whole Bean from Starbucks mmmmmmm). I’ve been doing pretty well with not having coffee very often so I rewarded myself … with coffee. I know, I know it should have been with something else. Hear me out though; when I do break down and go get me a cup from Starbucks, or any other coffee shop or even the convenience store I end up paying anywhere from $3 to $6, and since one of my goals is to also budget my money better I just bought a bag so when I’m having a fix and I occasionally allow myself to have some then I already have it at my house and I’m saving money. So you see, this was a good thing because I saved money =). Your not buying it are you? Yeah, neither am I. This goal is hard.
So far I am writing down where every dollar goes DAILY, not only to see where my money is going, but to also make myself more aware of it so that I can see where I’m wasting my money at and how to fix it. Budgeting sucks…
