Go to Paris
Untitled 4 years ago

Totally worth doing! My favorite Paris story: I had wanted to go to Paris for as long as I could remember. When I was 21 I finally got my chance, with my best friend. We had been in Paris for a couple of hours when I remembered that I had once read that the Eiffel Tower was visible from everywhere in the city, but I hadn’t seen it yet. My friend and I were on a bridge over the Seine River, and after I related that supposed fact to him (I don’t know if it’s actually true), I turned around . . . and there it was! The Eiffel Tower, big and bright in the afternoon sun, stiking against the perfect blue sky. That is a moment I will never forget.

But think carefully about what you want, and what it means to you, because more than likely you’ll have it forever!

publish my poems
Untitled 4 years ago

Besides having a poem of mine from elementary school published in the kids’ section of the newspaper, I recently had a poem I wrote published in an actual book of poetry, along with a description of myself and my inspiration for my poem – two pages to myself. I don’t think the book is available in stores or anything, but the poem was about my relationship with my husband, how we met, and how our relationship lasted while he was in the Navy and overseas, and for that reason it is very important to me. It makes me feel to good to know that other people might read my poem and learn how special my husband is to me.
