It’s no longer “get over him” since we’re still going out and he’s finally back.

I’m so sick of little point-and-shoot camera.
Like Kodaks.
I mean, I love my EasyShare with all my heart but that thing is going to the dump in about…one week? (Actually, I’ll recycle it.)
But my mom hires this pro once every year to take pictures of the hospital staff and his camera is really damn nice.
So this year, she called me around noon (this was a few weeks ago) and she told me to come out to the hospital to meet the guy.
He was sooo nice and even took some pictures of me.
I asked him about getting a SLR and he said that a good start camera is the Nikon D70. (At least, from what we remember, this is what he said.)
For quite a while I had forgotten to Ebay it, and now that Flickr has lead me back to it, I’m set on getting this camera.
Only…it costs from $650 to $1000.
And we don’t have that money.
I really don’t have that money what with upcoming birthdays and other holidays.
I can’t wait much longer for a camera though, and I don’t want to have to buy a cheap used one. (I hate hand-me-downs.)
Does anyone know of a way for me to get enough money for that camera and quick?
I can’t get a job (all the old people and college kids are favored over drop outs) and a car wash is not going happen since it’s been so cold lately.
Any suggestions?
