I’ve gone to a different weeklong writing workshop/retreat for three years running. While it is differently structured than VP, I feel I’m much further along than I used to be, and may not need to sign up for VP anymore.

It made me

How I did it: My boyfriend and I moved last year to our second apartment in Seattle. We decided to make the most of the move and get rid of things we'd been meaning to get rid of for ages. One thing I did, in order to help me let go of beloved clothes that no longer fit, was to take pictures of them and then upload to my Flickr account. Saw the posted list of the artists in next year’s Spectrum, lucky 13. I’m not on there, alas. Of course, none of the other hopefuls I know were EITHER, but still….a disappointment.
