I am very proud to say that I quit for the 3rd and final time! It is now 1 year and 8 months!!!!! There is a book called “The Easy Way to Quit Smoking”. I wouldn’t think a book could help, much less make it any easier, but by God it did!! You are permitted to keep smoking while you read the book, but I read the first chapter and decided that I didn’t want to waste another day smoking, but I continued reading the book. It’s not as though I hadn’t heard the message from the book before, but somehow the way this guy arranged the written word helped me to quit with almost NO PAIN from the withdrawl. He is able to get through to the brain where I, or anyone else had previously been unable to go. I smoked for 36 years and I will never, ever pick up a cigarette again!

I have spent the last 4 and a half years dealing with the pain left over after a three level fusion of the neck. I am on high levels of opiates and each time they raise the dosage I become tolerant of it and the pain returns with a vengence. I want to start enjoying life instead of not doing anything because of the pain. I rarely leave my home or go anywhere out of town because of it. My whole existance is centered around pain. My standards of housekeeping, curb appeal, and personal “look” have all suffered from this thing. I’m addicted to Oxycontin even though it no longer helps.
I want to enjoy it before it’s too late.
