This is definately the most important thing on my list. It must be done. A friend of mine’s 8 year old son is dying of cancer. He has required so many transfusions and there are so many other kids (and adults too) who go through the same thing. I remember an add campaign that used to be on tv and the radio: “Blood, it’s in you to give” That is so true. There are reasons that some people can’t, but for those who can, it’s really important for them to do so.

First thing on my 43 things list I actually compleated after I added it to my list! Got my nose pierced last Friday! I actually received a certificate to have it done free with a bead ring, by a professional (not with a gun!). I’m thinking a screw would suit me wayyyy better. But this will be ok for now. Been getting some funny looks tho’. LOL One thing, I guess I didn’t think through, I ended up choosing a jade bead (‘cause they were out of tiny hamatite beads). When the bead is visible it looks like something got stuck on the ring. LOL The piercing doesn’t hurt. I really shouldn’t touch it tho’... I’m really bad at that. It’s not infected yet. Anyway, I’m going to go clean it now, it’s that time.
That’s right folks. Me, applying for a job to teach pole dancing. No, there is no clothing removing involved; it will be presented as a fun work out routine. I have some experience pole dancing, I was a dancer (mostly jazz and ballet) for many years. I will get training for the job, if I land it. It’s a great opertunity ‘cause it would only be about 3 hours a week, in the evenings, which is about all the time I have to devote to that right now. Wish me luck!
