I gave blood today! I was walking to class and noticed the signs inviting people to give. I’ve only given blood three times in the past, a couple years ago at least, but I’ve never had a bad experience. I can only imagine what a blessing it is to the people who need blood! God forbid any of us would need to receive blood in the future, but it’s good to put ourselves in their shoes knowing that we can trust that if we do need blood, it will be there because of people with hearts for giving! God bless all who give freely!

Thanks to 8 am classes, I have a NEED to wake up when the alarm goes off. I was desparate enough last week to rearrange my room and put my alarm clock on the shelf that is opposite my bed so that when it goes off I need to actually get up to hit the snooze. I find that if I am up and walking to turn off the alarm, I have much more will power to keep walking to the shower as opposed to collapsing back into bed.
