The one thing that’s keeping me from being a better pirate is the fact that I have nothing but an old laptop with only an 80GB hard drive and an ancient AMD Mobility Radeon 9700. Once I save up $1500, I’m going to build a new PC and get my game on once again.
It’s defiently worth doing. Once mastered, you’ll have much more control of the car, and you’ll have more fun driving. And you won’t look like a stupid ditsy teenage girl when driving sporty cars that girls seem to like (such as the Mitsubishi Lancer and Scion TC).
Plus you can make an average car look like it can accelerate like a Ferarri when you burn out when the light turns green. :P
I think the best way for a teen whose just just turning 16 to learn how to drive a stick is to make their first car one. It’s scary at first, but once you get the hang of it, you’ll never go back to an automatic (especially once you learn the other cool things you can do with a manual, like drifting, burnouts, etc).
I’m almost 19, and the two cars I’ve owned were both stick-shifts. I plan to never drive an automatic again.
I got my Free 360 from 3604Free.com. While it took lots of time and energy (I probably wouldn’t do it again), it was well worth it in the end!
The PSP is worth buying if you plan on upgrading to custom firmware and running emulators on it (it can run everything from NES to PS1, and at full speed).
There’s no vacation better than a cruise, and there’s not cruise line better than Royal Caribbean (but always take the newest & biggest ship for the ultimate experience!). With everything from casinos to arcades, from ice rinks to simulated surfing waves, you’ll have so much fun on the ship, you might not want to get off it to explore the islands!
Downgrading your firmware isn’t as scary as it seems; unless you’re a total idiot, it’s almost impossible to brick your PSP in the process! With custom firmware, you can have all the features of the latest firmware, along with all the freedom of the downgraded firmware, meaning there’s not reason not to downgrade (unless you currently have FW 3.51 or higher; in that case, you’ll have to wait for a downgrader to come out).
Despite the fact that people say its easier to drift a RWD car, I find that its actually easier to enter a drift in a FWD car by briefly tugging on the e-brake while sharply turning, then giving it gas. Also, in a FWD car, it’s possible to start a drift simply by jerking (but controlling!) the wheel while performing a normal, everyday turn! If you have a Mitsubishi Lancer (02 or newer), then you have the perfect vehicle for FWD drifting.
