How I did it: Well, this will not apply to all schools/universities, but it does for art studies, I think. I only learned this somewhere about the beginning of my 3rd year, but once you get the hang of it, it is rather easy. This doesn't mean it is not hard work! I think that art school especially is about working very hard. But as it is also about following your heart, it is not a pain. I have another degree in engineering and while I didn't have to wo… Read how I did it…
How I did it: Hmmm.. I actually only wanted to fill out the 'in one sentence' bit, but as it turns out, I need to tell you how I did it. As it is, I already do this (unless I'm having a very busy week or something like that), so, well, I just did it automatically.Anyway, I can't see why anyone would want some advice on this. It's just a matter of trying something new! Read how I did it…
How I did it: Start on it, and not procrastinate any longer: that was the biggest deal. After that, it was perhaps two hours of work. Not exactly a piece of cake, but not hard to do either. Read how I did it…
See all "How I Did It" stories...
I’ve found this wonderful apartment! Five rooms, 120 square metres (1290 square feet), superb kitchen… but it’s too expensive :(. Then again, I don’t need the space (yet ;)), so it’s a bit overkill. But it is so very nice!
I have an idea though: I might rent 2 of the rooms to our company as offices. That way, we get a cheap office (we have none now), and I can pay the mortgage. In a few years, I can get the rooms back for myself, and our company can move on to something larger and better situated (not that this is bad or anything). I wonder if this is feasible, and what the others think of this idea.
It’s just a wild idea, but I think it has some merit. Have to talk it over…
FINALLY I’m getting some work done! Okay, now I’m a bit distracting myself at 43T, but still… I’m almost in the flow.
How much I hate doing things like this. I’m happy that I don’t have to do it often, and that, for my other company, we’re with five so we can work together (or at least distribute it).
But, however much I hate making proposals, I like the work itself, and (if accepted) it will bring in several thousands euros so I can buy bread, pay the rent (soon mortgage, I hope) and all that. And now that I have finished my studies and plenty of time on my hands, there’s no reason I should postpone this any more.
