How I did it: I donated blood and they sent me a lovely card with my blood group on it. My mum was wrong, having told me that I could only be O+, since she was... I turned out to be B+, which is so cool in my opinion: the fact that my blood is uncommon and that I'm doing something good by not keeping it all to myself, when there are people out there who'd need it... How I did it: My laptop had been playing up since mid-August, and broke completely at the end of the month... in that time, I had access only to a really old, Windows 2000Me computer... which is ridiculously slow. How I did it: I saw a Give Blood table in my uni one day, and picked up a leaflet. The people working there seemed incredibly bored, having set up in one of the quietest areas of the campus. I was more interested in the cause, by my own means. I never actually considered donating blood before, but I'd always admired those who did, in a small way.
