How I did it: Sit down, be patient, and DON'T BURN YOUR FINGERS. Oh, and use some kind of heat protector, as your hair (ESPECIALLY CURLY HAIR) Is more succeptible to damage. How I did it: I went around and asked who needed help; it was that simple. I was shocked at how many opportunities popped up, and now, I hold down a position at the Cancer Society in a thrift store that benefits what they strive for.
