I’m currently in the midst of getting my CPA but I hope to transition into Financial Services- Corp Finance. I was an accountanting/Finance major in college. I decided to gain accounting experience before going into finance. I’m looking to an MBA to open this career move (I’m also contemplating taking at least the first part of the CFA before applying to Grad School).
For those applying and/or attending an MBA program… how and when did you know it was the right decision to get an MBA… Many say they want an mba even before finishing college but may not have analyzed the value of one. Based on your experience, can you please share your thought process in evaluating why you needed to get an MBA at this time? Thank you.

Hi all,
Not sure if you recall my anguish entries. I live in NYC and took AUD 4/1/08… most of you received your results long before I ever did. I learned about my score on my b-day… close to 3 months after I took the exam. I was nervous, worried and couldn’t really concentrate on my next part but what a nice b-day gift huh?... Thanks AICPA for being so considerate lol
Anyways, I’m pumped and glad I passed my first test… I have BEC coming up this Tuesday.. I’ve been reviewing notes and practicing MCs.. any advise form those who have recently taken the exam?
Thanks

Hi all,
I’ve noted several people in this forum were not too happy with Becker CPA’s material on BEC, can you recommend another book I can reference.
Thank you :)
