This is very close to happening. I have mostly put the book together and now I am just refining it a little and adding some touches. I hope to have it printer and ready by the end of next week!

How I did it: My friend Joanna was MCeeing and Featuring at an event. There was another poet scheduled to feature as well but she had a funeral to go to and had to pull out-I got two days notice and did a 10 minute set. It was lots of fun! Read how I did it…
How I did it: I called the consignment shop and made an appointment last week. I went to it this week and they took everything I brought in! The woman says she loves my style and really thinks I'll do well! Now I just wait until September 11th and hopefully all or most of my things sell and I'll have money to pick up! Read how I did it…
How I did it: went to my favorite piercing/tattoo place-Fat Lip Piercing and Tattoos (piercings are always $35 including jewlry) and I got it done! Everyone warned me about a "popping noise" when they go through the cartiledge but I never heard it" Read how I did it…

I’m doing pretty well with this I feel. I think I only really need two more.I thought maybe I had made two new friends but I lost my job and don’t get to see the 2nd one so much anymore-she’s a cool chick and maybe when things normalize or something she and I can hang. The one I am counting is Emma-she was more of an acquaintance before-but now we have hung out and I very much enjoy talking with her.
So my friend moved to Canada and gave me her sewing machine.
I have learned how to thread it and load the bobbin and I can do some basic things-nothing amazing yet. I hemmed a dress though.
I’m still learning about a lot of the settings but I’m doing ok with it.
