I’ve been collecting quotations and excerpts that inspire me and remind me how to live and be in tune with myself and the universe, there is plenty of space left in it still to collect information and inspiration before we go in the spring, and probably still some room to write in it as a journal during the trip. I’m worried that it might be too heavy for a six month hike however. It doesn’t seem heavy here in context of a few hours but in conditions where we’ll be walking for eight hours a day it may actually be a problem. Plan A. is to get a backpack and pack it with what I think i can carry, and then do a day or overnight hike as a tester to see whats really necessary/useful/worth carrying.

“This is a call to stop unconscious living, it is the challenge to which your soul has called you from the beginning of time.”
“WHEN YOU HAVE A THOUGHT THAT IS NOT IN ALIGNMENT WITH YOUR HIGHER VISION, CHANGE TO A NEW THOUGHT, THEN AND THERE.
WHEN YOU SAY SOMETHING THAT IS OUT OF ALIGNMENT WITH YOUR GRANDEST IDEA, MAKE A NOTE NOT TO SAY SOMETHING LIKE THAT AGAIN.
WHEN YOU DO A THING WHICH IS MISALIGNED WITH YOUR BEST INTENTION, DECIDE TO MAKE THAT THE LAST TIME. AND MAKE IT RIGHT WITH WHOEVER WAS INVOLVED.”
“You are goodness and mercy and compassion and understanding. You are peace and joy and light. You are forgiveness and patience, strength and courage, a helper in time of need, a comforter in time of sorrow, a healer in time of injury, a teacher in times of confusion. You are the deepest wisdom and the highest truth; The greatest peace and the grandest love. NOW CHOSE TO KNOW YOURSELF AS THESE THINGS ALWAYS.”
