We’re on it from the day we are born, whether we are aware of it or not. I’m not sure what I’m supposed to be yet, but all religions interest me. I believe that they are all linked somehow. There is more to us than just the normal life on Earth. There is more than that and I have had personal experiences that have led me to this belief. There are spiritual places in this world I want to go to, not just to experience the place & culture, but to find the teachers that may be there. Though, I know that if I’m meant to learn something, the teachers/lessons will come.

But it can pay the bills, put food on the table & clothes on our backs, as well as buy our homes & beautify them & their surroundings, etc. Making us very happy in the process… I grew up with feet in both worlds. I knew the life of money because of a millionaire grandfather – plays, operas on occassion, the best resturaunts, great gifts, etc and I knew the life of being very poor because of an alcoholic mother on welfare.

I am currently a single mother struggling to pay the bills, etc with shitty jobs that offer no long term security. I think often of starting my own business, but with little education, it is only a dream at this point. However, the desire to earn real money grows everyday. I am constantly seeking the reasons as to why it appears to be so easy for some people and so difficult for others. I have learned that some people have the gift of being able to sell ice to eskimos, along with a lot of charm. They can sell themselves and they have drive to do it. I have desire, I just don’t know if I have the drive.
