At least I will be traveling. School has once again turned out to be a bust. I was going to go to Oaxaca for Spring Break, but I am instead going home to Austin then back to Alaska for the summer. Hopefully I will get to go to Central America at the end of the work season in AK.

Private lessons from a good friend who has just become an official instructor at the university. I need to practice more on my own, but that seems to be picking up momentum. I have been meaning to retrieve some of the yoga gear my sister does not use. I would like to pull her back into the yoga habit soon.
I just moved home from Austin. Six months of biking on a little single speed up and down those hills and a mostly vegan diet have me hovering on the loose end of a size 6. I have some really awesome muscle tone, and I feel healthier than I have in years. I walked up some stairs at the university the other day that used to leave me pathetically breathless many years and pounds ago. I went up and down them several times trying to get paperwork taken care of before I remembered the effect a trip up used to have on me. I just started doing yoga, and once I have access to the Rec Center at TTU, I will be doing weights again finally, and attacking the climbing wall regularly once I have gear. If I can lose nearly 60 pounds, anyone can.
