Did it!

Volunteered at my local animal shelter. Really enjoyed the time I spent working with the animals and getting to know the other volunteers. Extending a helping hand to the animals there also benefited the people who came in to adopt them, so I do feel like I was providing a worthy service to the public.

I volunteered every Sunday for about a year and half. Constraints on my time and other life events caused me to stop but I would really enjoy volunteering again.

Finish the financial aid process

two steps away from completing this goal.

in the next two weeks I need to
1. meet with advisor/draw up edu. plan
2. submit appeal for 2009

and then I’ll be done.

I went to the initial meeting for the local hospital. I don’t have the time to commit at this point in my life. I’m not giving up on this goal, but I am thinking of something requiring less commitment.
