How I did it: It all started with my hair. I one day discovered how much I loved getting new hairstyles and colors. And then I started trying to figure out the rest of this style thing. The biggest thing was that I stopped paying attention to what other people were wearing, and started doing what I wanted. And I stopped trying trends that I knew weren't me. How I did it: I finally got a pet....just a fish...but a pet nonetheless. I decided one day, there had been enough talk of getting a fish and went straight to the pet store. He (i think he's a he) is a Siamese Fighting Fish - also known as a beta fish but that doesn't sound as exciting. I named him Wise Leo after a dancer I saw on So You Think You Can Dance. Just 2 short weeks away. Not enough time to get everything done but oh well. I am excited and nervous. It’s less about independence at this point and more about practicality. But both are good. I expect to really really miss my parents. I really love them and its just been the 3 of us for a year-ish, since my sisters all moved out. should be another interesting adventure. just the way i like it :)
