I bought one about a week and a half ago, after my old xbox broke. My next credit card bill is going to hurt, but I still think it was worth every penny.

I’ve been wanting to do this for ages, but work and school have cut my free reading time pretty short for years. My plan is to find a reputable “top 100 classics” book list and read them all, making sure to actually understand them of course.
I’m moving across the country soon, and I’m going to know absolutely no one. Seriously, I have no relatives or friends in the area where I’m moving, so it’s going to be up to me to build up a new friends circle. This goal will motivate me to get out there, meet random people, and learn enough about them to consider them at least an acquaintance, if not a friend. I’m hoping to record brief stories here about the people I meet, so I can look back on this at the end of 2008 and realize just how many people I’ve met since August.
