There are so many ways to make a difference and once you get started, it’s hard to stop. Use reusable bags instead of plastic. Compost. Recycle. Then if you really want, do something more like donate money and/or time to something like, oh, Autism Speaks!

How I did it
How I did it: I wrote my first two chapters and my last one to have ready for anyone who asked for them after a query letter. I thought about something I'd want to read but hadn't seen written about yet. Then I wrote query letters and waited.My last chapter changed dramatically and I had to ask for a deadline extention, but the publisher was willing to work with me to make sure they got the best book I could write. I’ve wanted a nose stud for over 10 years and finally got the time and place to do it right- and did!
The only thing that hurt was the pushing through of the needle- the eye watering and putting the back on the hook were annoying. :)
