Hurricane Xmas expected to make landfall on Dec. 25 1 year ago

This year I was planning to wake up at an ungodly hour of the night to get a good deal on gifts on the day after Thanksgiving, but the alarm rang and I was in no mood to do anything else but go back to sleep, so I did just that.

Besides, I tried that last year (at about 5 in the morning) and saw the longest checkout lines inside the stores. “Not Worth It”, I thought.

Thank goodness for e-Commerce.

Hand out candy on Halloween (read all 2 entries…)

But that’s OK.

Goal accomplished, and this year was quite a surprise, since I had to make a “candy run” to the store to stock up between trick-or-treaters.

It was raining periodically that night, so I wasn’t sure if anyone would be walking around outside. But at about 7:30, I heard a knock on the door, opened it and saw a group of about 15 kids. My supply was wiped out after that, so I went to get more in case anyone else showed up.

There was one more smaller group later, so there was a small amount of candy leftover for me.

So I've done this, but I don't want to do it again 1 year ago

I mean, I would if my 43T account was closed for some reason, but I’d much rather spend those 1000 cheers using this account, and go for the big 2K.

And halfway there already.
