How I did it: We finally got around to landscaping the back yard.We then planted some vegies. Just go to your local nursery and buy seedlings of anything that you're going to eat. If you don't eat brussel sprouts, don't buy them.Almost everything thrived. One thing we purchased was a cherry tomato. How I did it: The design was done when we first moved into the house three years ago, but it remained a field of weeds for a while. Then we put in some turf and a couple of garden beds. For a while we just watched the weeds grow.Then we finally got around to inviting some friends over, putting weedmat down, laying mulch around the trees and gravel around the paths. The Federation Trail is a shared use path for cyclists and pedestrians, which mainly follows the old “Outfall Sewer” through the western suburbs of Melbourne, Victoria, Australia.
I won’t mark this as done until he’s actually born. We now have the 12 week ultrasound and know that it’s a boy!
