I have wanted to move to North Carolina ever since I went to the Outer Banks with a boyfriend (ex) in ‘05. Now at the age of 21, it’s becoming more of a resonable goal than a lucid flashback. My parents are having more children…they are still very young considering my age.. Unfortunately I’m feeling a lot of pressure to get out of the way for the new kids, and MA is very expensive to rent and buy. An average 2 bedroom apt is about $1200.00 a month without utilities in my area, so N.C. seems much more reasonable. I actually think that wih a little more work on my credit I could buy a house down there in about a year. I know for sure that I’m taking my one and only younger sibling with me. I think I’m just afraid that in a few months when my house calms down, that my parents are going to brush off how much they have hurt me by pushing me and my brother out..and take it personally that we are leaving pretty much to get away from all this madness.

How I did it: I planned an anniversary party earlier this year and finally got ALL of the addresses I needed. That was my biggest problem, then I made a more prioritiezed list of who I had to send to. I started small with only about 30 cards going out. In the past my list included about 75 cards, the postage alone was daunting, nevermind having to address and sign all the cards. I think maybe next year, I will have retur… Read how I did it…
How I did it: I just kept looking for a job and just when I was about to give up I found a seasonal job and got hired on the spot! It was a huge bout of cofidence and I have now learned a new skill. Although, I will be back on the job hunt soon enough, the fact that I COULD get a job has helped me out a lot. Read how I did it…
Ok I finally stopped sleeping till 1:30 everyday..go me! However, now I am up at 6:30 everyday, which I suppose is better than staying up till 6:30. I personally think that this is just too early to be up. On the brighter side, I am 20 minutes early for work instead of being 10 minutes late. I’ll weigh in again when I’m a little more chipper
