Thanks to everyone. Pledges have come to double my goal. My team has also raised team donations via a donation box at Starbucks. We have not counted it but the girls both say the box is “very heavy.” Will let you all know how it goes when I get back from the lake.

4 Hours....
Ok, so we’re making a big breakfast at home, and leaving at 9AM. The plunge itself is at Noon.
At home our outdoor temp is 16.5 degrees. According to the weather report it is currently 7 degrees at Lake George with a windchill of 10 degrees. The report said the wind was calm.
A few hours for the temp to go up a little. Of course the water will be warmer than the air.
I think as of now I am more excited than nervous.

Well, we are closer to “Plunge Time”. Tomorrow at 1200 Noon…
I have a waterproof camera… plenty of towels… a bathrobe… my swimsuit… supportive family [who will also have the remote starter to the car]... And two team mates joining me.
WOW! Excited and Nervous both!
[* Thank you to the kind 43er who made an UBER generous pledge. I’ve missed having the time to read your posts. I was shocked at your generosity. Thank you so much. *]
