My wife and I, with our 5 mo. old, are going to drive down to Cape Canaveral on Sunday, hoping to see the space shuttle launch! Weather is expected to be decent.

So, between July 1st and 19th, eh? Sounds great. I think this will be the one I get to see – FINALLY. I have always wanted to see this since I was a little kid.

I was in Alaska back in January and tried for 3 straight nights to see the northern lights. We went outside of Anchorage where it was very dark and we had beautiful clear skies. But no sign of the aurora… :(

I looked into how much the Flash MX 2004 software costs… too damn expensive! Did the dudes that make those hilarious cartoons on www.albinoblacksheep.com really buy it or did they pirate it? Hmm…..

Well, things didn’t work out with the rest of my life to allow for the trip to Titusville to see the launch – a real shame…

And now it looks like it’ll be awhile until another one.

Oh well – guess I’ll have more time to concentrate on the other things I want to do now, right?

I’ve got a left-handed 4-string bass guitar (Fender Squire) that I neglect way too much… I’m always day-dreaming about being a great bass player. And when I hear a great bass line I feel horrible for not practicing more than I do.

Next scheduled launch is this Tuesday 7/26! I’m going to drive down and try to see the launch from Titusville.
