My boyfriend and I had hired a car in Sofia and ran into them on the road to Rila in Bulgaria. We actually slept in our car near the market/festival and were sent away by the police because of that. Next day we had great food as breakfast :)

How I did it: From 25 to 28 February 2010, in a rental car.We did Geelong, Apollo Bay, Erskine Falls, Great Otway National Park (don't skip that!), Marriner's Lookout, all the obligatory Apostles and Bay of Islands stuff, and ended in Mount Eccles, (worth a visit! Lava tunnels, double crater with scary steep heights and lake, rock wallibies, and nobody around (at least in February)). Read how I did it…
How I did it: I got it in 2004 in three months in the Netherlands, in the spring, so it was really cold at times. But I wouldn’t have had it any other way. Now, 8 years of no diving later, I still know everything! I did a scuba update last year, but it turned out I really didn’t need one because I did a good course. :) Read how I did it…
How I did it: I had three big cleaning-out moments in the past year. I’m already progressed to the point where even my books aren’t safe anymore (which is a big deal, coming from a book-loving/-hoarding family). I love it! I cleaned out everything, from clothes and shoes (I started with this) to CDs/DVDs, books, kitchen stuff, random stuff like decorations and gifts which I didn’t dare throw out, etc etcI have moved last October and will … Read how I did it…

I love that the German university I’m doing my master’s at provides free German courses on every level. Saves me so much money! Equivalent courses would be hundreds of euros elsewhere.
I took up Ving Tsun Kung Fu for a year, but that school was not what I was looking for (it was just sport, not martial arts). Then I tried kendo, but then I realised that I want a combination of empty hand and weaponry. That was 5 or so years ago, haven’t found a good dojo in the neighbourhood since. But then I moved last October, new area, new chances. So ninjutsu is next. :)
