Well today is not only the first day of the New Year, but it marks my second week being on the diet. I’m pretty proud that I didn’t have any “holiday food”. In fact, the fruitcake that usually seems so appealing now is just another piece of food. I had no problem eating my steamed vegetables and tofu sandwich (but maybe that’s because my mom made some sort of seafood rice thing.. eh).
Maybe I am getting better at ignoring/not wanting the sugar stuffs!
:P

So I decided to give up this goal in exchange for a more specific one: eat out once every two weeks.
Let’s see how it goes!!

Today I made a few exceptions: I had a a glass of non-organic orange juice, a sugar/peppermint cookie, and I ate some of my friend’s couscous (which was likely cooked with added salt/oil). But on the other hand, I made delicious whole wheat and veggie pita sandwiches today, and I believe I’m hooked on them!
Day 8 has gone by with much worse temptation, and few exceptions.
:)
