A friend and I decided to do the long ride we had talked about…so we cruised on our bikes from my house to Lake Michigan, and all the way down to Navy Pier and then back home. Round trip, it was a 70 mile day, which is pretty good for not training very much. I drank probly 10 gatorades along the way. Fun time, but very tired that night.

If you go for a month, plan to never come back, because you won’t want to leave. Best place on earth…beautiful scenery, beautiful people, beautiful language, incredible food, perfect weather, and so far away from home, you will forget home exists. (Best if you learn the language a bit)
I’m self taught, and I did it on one year of college. Us online sites that have “tabs”....such as tabcrawler.com. Itll show you where to put your fingers for your favorite songs. Learn a few chords and practice going from one to the other over and over, and keep learning new chords. I bought a crappy guitar off someone in the street in chicago, learned with that until I was good enough to buy a good one. Don’t waste a ton of money until you know its something you’ll stick with for years to come.
