I am a film maker and want to bring the plights of suffering people throughout the world to the worlds media with the help of the UN.

Film / tv are the most powerful visuals on opur planet today and I want to show the world what is really happening.

I am also a fully qualified teacher in England. With a small film crew I would like to show the real plights of people in poverty, in war zones etc as documentary films. The Western cinema has grown into a world of fantasy with millions upon millions of writers, directors and producers and actors making vast sums of money for their abilities; but what of their subject matter: often fantasy, action, thriller; sometimes with deep moralities like THE SHAWSHANK REDEMPTION and others, but mostly designed to make money and often deny the truth of what is going on in the world. 25 years as a professional stuntman, I have seen and made enough false action and movies albeit entertaining to the public. I am seeking help and sponsorship through the United Nations to go into the darkest places of the world; where the darkest suffering exists and to show that the UN can make a difference and that lives of hopelesness, filled with the fallibilty of human nature can be helped; where people have been on the edge of giving up, but continue to strive to be happy and these are often, ironically the people with the least wealth and the greatest faith. As a devout christian I know the pain and suffering and loss of following Christ; but out there are greater sufferings, more powerful stories of hope than my own where people are striving to come through the worst of atrocities.

After the War In Sarajevo I went to film Welcome To Sarajevo and on a day off went to a refuge camp where one small girl had ran home to her Grandparents crying; her mother had had her arms and legs blown off by a bomb blown up in the market and was thrown into the back of a car to go top hospital. She died. Her father was shot and killed in the streets of Sarajevo and as she arrived at her Grandparents house, they had fled, but her baby sister had a spear through her heart and was pinned to the door. When I went to the refuge camp where I met this little girl and learnt of her story, I kept my eyes pressed to my 35 mil camera to try and show people that I was not crying.

I need sponsorship through the United Nations. I am a serious film and documentary maker requiring funding to take my crew out into the world and bring back stories of great hope from the greatest moments of despair. Jehovah Giro. I hope to obtain sponsorships for my films also here at home in England; Christian stories of great hope about the most unselfish of lives where we need to lose our lives in Christ in order to save them. What you will have assisted to finance and create will change this world and make it a wonderful place to be a part of ‘knowing’ in the very sense of the word. Do we really know Jesus as our own personal saviour; look at the wonderful unselfish work Mother Teresa did (I would also like to make a film about her) I am currently seeking finanance to start this slate of films with a story called SEEDS FOR SID about a 2nd world war vetran who befriends a young boy in this rights of passage film. I want to make films that will inspire people to do greater things in their own lives and give these words to God that someone out there might be equally inspired to be a part of creating something totally unique in the world of film making.
