manage my finaces better...
where does it all go??

Everytime I check my account I get a shock. It seems like there is a secret siphon hose that I don’t know about that is slowly draining my meager account. You would think that I have a bad crack habit or something the way my funds just seem to disappear. Obviously part of the problem is that I live alone an a pitiful income. And there always seems to be some type of unexpected home or car repair that needs to be taken care of. And then factor in the bills, and the fact that I like to eat. Man, do I need to hit the lottery!

be grateful
count my blessings...

the other day as I drove down the street I saw something that completely broke my heart and made me realize how lucky I truly am. I saw this man who was pushing a baby stroller and had another little girl walking with him. The man has some type of disorder. He has a problem walking and his body seems stiff and rigid. It seems like it may be MS or some type of neurological disorder. I saw him and it completely caught me off guard. My heart went out to this guy and his family. Here is a guy with some type of disability and he is pushing a baby stroller down the street. I hope that whatever he has, that he can recover.
Also there is a blind guy who I see quite often who passes my house. Sometimes he is with his seeing eye dog, sometimes he is not. I’m not sure where he comes from, but I have seen him around the neighborhood. I see him walking to the grocery store with his cart. I think that this is the bravest person that I know. To be blind and be able to find your way around town like he does is amazing. I wish these two guys all the best as they have made me realize that I have no right to complain about my petty annoyances. The courage these guys live through every day is insprirational. God bless both of them…

make a portfolio of my photographs...
Untitled

I want to create a portfolio of some of the pictures I’ve taken. I have tons of landscape stuff and wildlife. I think I may have found a volunteer to do some ‘modeling’ for me so I can work on portrait photography. She is a very nice and attractive girl. Actually I believe she could be a model because she has the right body type. It will be good experience for me. Bret, one of my co workers, wants me to do some family portraits of him and his wife and kids. I would do it just because. I can’t wait until Spring and Summer are here when everything comes into bloom. It will be good.
