I went to an eye doctor here a couple of weeks ago, but he wasn’t specialized in my eye issue, therefore, he sent my papers to another doc. Then I got a letter from the hospital, saying they’ll be able to see me in 4-5 months. Oh well..
After struggling so much against bad teaching from the bad school in Høje Taastrup, I found a good school in CPH downtown. My teacher is not so great, she lacks enthusiasm for what she does, nevertheless, it’s a very good school overall, and they work with method. I’m currently taking danish module 3.1, which I might finish in the beggining of april. I might reach modul 5/6 by the beggining of 2009..
I’ve been accepted in a masters in Cognitive Semiotics in Århus university. Good news, huh?=)
Update – 4th november: My husband got a new job, so we’re moving to Copenhagen soon. I’m very happy in a way, but disappointed because i had to give up of the masters. I’m going to try Roskilde in march though. I’m not sure if i can get to do a masters though, as in this university, the courses lectured in english are always a combination of two fields, like Communications + English, for example. I have a bachelor in Communications but i lack the academic knowledge in English. Let’s see… Maybe i’ll have to wait until i’m fluent in danish to come back to uni..
Update – march 17: I haven’t found any masters lectured in English which I’m interested in, at CPH university, and the ones they have in Roskilde are a combination of two subjects, therefore, one needs to hold two bachelor degrees in order to take it (!!!). Maybe I should try one of the bachelors they have, I even thought about it, but I was too late to the inscription deadline (march 14). Let’s see.. :-S
A couple of weeks ago i went all the way to Malmo, Sweden, to take the TOEFL IBT test… For some mistake, i thought i was inscribed in the CBT, but i wasn’t:-S It felt really bad, but three weeks later (today) i got my results and i scored 89, which means 230 in the CBT and 570-573 in the paper based test. :-D I can’t describe my happiness! I needed a 79-80 score on the IBT test in order to apply for a masters in the University of Århus, so now i can!
