I want to be fluent in treble clef. The reason for this is that I process information faster in bass clef than in treble clef; I think this is because my brain is more synergized in that clef. This means that stuff in music theory is always ridiculously more difficult than it should be for me because it’s almost always in treble clef.

How I did it
How I did it: Learning bass trombone was amazing! It really helped my tone on tenor. I also feel that challenging into Jazz I was a good experience even though Ally, to this day, still holds a grudge against me for it. I learned bass over the summer in the hope that would help me get in. I have a feeling I did better on the audition than the other girl who wants that spot. However, the audition isn’t over, I still have to do sectional work.
