live below my means
Sometimes you just got to

Well if I had my druthers I’d prefer to be living by wealthier means~ at least enough to help.
I really find it amusing that there are people who actually think they’re worth more, and that they deserve more, because they have more!!! Hmmm, could this be true?

not keep spinning my wheels, I think I need to flap my wings, instead. . .
as I watch

I feel every which way I turn, that there is no one who will do the right thing. No one who can turn right the injustice that is now usurping any gains made against the abuse, that a fortnight ago seemed to offer some glimmer of hope, to those of us who have been abused or have relatives, friends, or acquaintances, who have been.
Some courts seem now more then ever, to be all to eager to turn the tables on the victims, bringing more leniency to the abuser, and even looking, in cases of custody, to the fact that the victim can have custody of their children, denied, since they may not be in a stable home/environment, or because they don’t have a jobboth these issues a result of the abuser’s actions, which many courts don’t even want to acknowledge, which in turn creates a catch 22 situation, for the victim, brought about by the very courts that were suppose to help them, along with the abusers, and the new hardball backlash of certain “good ‘ol boy” pull.
Yes, Virginia, there is a Wolf in sheepskin robe~

save a life
Many people have, without even realizing it . . .

Sometimes saving a life does not mean physically saving someone. It might mean helping someone to redirect their lives, so that they have a life worth living!
A bit of praise, a smile, a shoulder to cry on, an ear to listen. . . It doesn’t take much, and we may not even realize we’re doing it; but our kind presence in the lives of others, whether its someone we know or a stranger, can be enough to “save a life”.
