Our lives are bent with the passions of achieving happiness. So often are we swayed by the aesthetic pleasure, the price, the labour, yet ultimately all we do is with the eventual goal of becoming happy.
One of my favourite quotations from Arthur Miller puts it beautifully – ‘If I have any justification for having lived, it’s simply, I’m nothing but faults, failures and so on, but I have tried to make a good pair of shoes. There’s some value in that.’
