Who wants a silly grant? I don’t. Who wants to write reports? I don’t. Who wants to have to track each and every thought? I don’t. But I do want to get my project up and going. So, I called all the principles (after receiving a nice little reminder from 43 things) and the timing was perfect. They were all in the process (at that very moment) of contacting me. As one of my collaborators said “Sometimes, the world works.” The outcome: We are meeting and recommitting to the project. Nice.

Met almost a month or two ago with a public speaking agent. She told me to craft my message and start to learn from other speakers. I’ve been reading “There Is No Such Thing As Public Speaking” and thinking about my message. I have a gig in February in Texas. So, at least we are taking baby steps. But, this one is going to need sustained attention in 2008. Whose with me out there?
Met a business school student who is atypical and interested in ethical business. We are planning a meeting to go over my idea and hopefully will agree to move forward. I am committed to creating a team for my idea this year. Let’s go in 2008!
