Visit Scotland
Scotland is the most stunningly beautiful place... 2 years ago

... in the Northern hemisphere, for me. There are many other lovely places of course, but the Highlands are magical. Scotland has got magnificent mountains, vast open glens, gleaming lochs, rugged islands, sandy beaches, great folk and indie music, a wonderful annual theatre festival in Edinburgh, a lively arts scene in Glasgow, and delicious food. Of course, it’s not perfect! For one thing, it is absolutely sodding freezing a lot of the time! And there are huge economic problems. But Scotland is a wonderful place.
