To Fly has always been a goal of mine before I die. I want to see the world. Experience. See. Live. Appreciate. I am slowly learning not to be afraid of the unknown or of things you can not control. Why be afraid to fly? I recently experienced my first flight. My husband and I went to Cancun, Mexico. Flying there was inevitable. I was so excited about going to Mexico that I didn’t make “flying” a big deal. We had to get there right? But, it was awesome! I loved it! When the plane takes off it goes so fast down the runway, the power, the speed…it felt like I was a Nascar Driver-LOL! (I wish!...maybe someday!-hey, I can dream right! LOL!) My Advice: If you are afraid to fly, go somewhere absolutely incredible so that flying isn’t actually what you are focused on, focus on your destination. Also get a window seat. We had a window seat on all of our flights to and from Mexico. I couldn’t stop looking out the window, it was fascinating, especially when we arrived in Cancun and you could see the bright blue water! The whole plane started cheering when the captain said “Welcome to Cancun”. It was an experience I’ll never forget. Don’t let your fears control your life. Make flying a must! {Attached is a pic of the Cancun Coast from the plane}
I designed my own tattoo and the artist drew it. It was an amazing experience. It somehow makes you feel a little like a “badass” LOL! It wicked hurt (don’t let people tell you it doesn’t -cuz it DOES HURT) I won’t lie about that. But the memory of the pain soon fades and now I’m thinking of getting a second one! If you want to get a tattoo-JUST DO IT!
